Bring the Festival to Life: Volunteer with a Subcommittee!

Artist Village/Non-Profit Pop-Up/ Food Hall

  • Recruit applicants (Applications will remain open until December 17, 2025)

  • Help with vendor/ Non-Profit/ Food Hall selection

  • Create criteria for selection

  • Provide or secure volunteers for on-site management for the Artist Village and Non-Profit during the concert

  • Recruit volunteers

  • Greet and ensure volunteers know where to be on the day of

  • Facilitate communication with volunteers

  • Secure Board involvement and engagement

  • Recruit and manage corporate beer booth volunteers

Fundraising/Sponsorship

  • Recruit tent sponsors and experiential marketing groups

  • Recruit and sell VIP areas

  • Formulate a strategy for selling VIP areas

  • Generate leads for larger-level contracts and send to co-chairs

Sustainability/Recycling

  • Secure partners for sustainability initiatives (ie, glass, water stations)

  • Recruit and secure volunteers for recycling areas on-site

  • Develop plans of implementation for any sustainability ideas that come up in planning

Inclusion/Accessibility

  • Secure partners for diversity and inclusion initiatives 

  • Recruit and secure volunteers for areas on-site

  • Develop plans of implementation for any DEI ideas that come up in planning

Marketing/Communications

  • Develop plans of implementation for creative marketing initiatives to spread the word about WATS

  • Recruit and secure spokespeople and influencers for the series

  • Coordinate with the fundraising committee as needed to implement strategies for VIP, tent sales, and influencer marketing.

  • Ensure marketing materials and promotional materials are dispersed and displayed in surrounding businesses in the CBD

  • Handle social media, website, PR, radio, and slideshow deck for WATS

  • Draft the run of show and ensure EMCEES are secured for the event

  • Create and distribute the newsletter weekly

  • Opportunity to develop and implement new areas of WATS, such as a kids area, a dog area, walking beer sales, or anything else you can think up

  • Develop a plan of implementation

  • Secure partnership and coordinate with fundraising group if needed

  • Secure volunteers if needed
